As a Director, Sam carries with him an extensive knowledge of all areas of Accounting and Taxation, and has particular expertise in Strategic Business Planning and Management. With 25 years experience as a Certified Practicising Accountant, Sam has also been actively involved as a business owner and board member of many businesses providing him with an in-depth understanding of the issues and challenges they face.
Sam has been with BMK since its inception for over 15 years and has a diverse client portfolio, which extends well beyond Metropolitan and Regional Victoria. Word of mouth referrals have led to an extensive client base in most major cities and regional centers. Sam regularly travels to Sydney and Adelaide in addition to servicing his clients in Victoria.
Sam has the exceptional managerial skills required to ensure the smooth and efficient running of an accounting practice while maintaining Client service levels of the highest calibre. His business presentations have extended Australia wide and he regularly provides expert proactive advice to Business Owners and to the Entertainment and Hospitality Industries on a range of taxation and business topics.
Jason Cullen (Associate Director)

Jason is a qualified accountant who worked in a similarly structured practice to BMK in Dublin for over 8 years, consulting with businesses within a varied number of industries such as: construction, service, hospitality and entertainment. Since arriving in Melbourne he has worked in a medium sized practice as a business services/audit manager before joining the team at BMK.
Li Chang

Li has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) degree from Monash University. She undertakes a variety of tasks within the BMK office, which include the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns. Li’s ability to liaise and resolve issues with staff, clients, and the Australian Tax Office on complex matters is invaluable. She is highly motivated and is actively developing her professional skills to achieve CPA status.
Haran Gangatharan

Haran has a degree in Business Law from Monash University and is currently in the process of completing his CA qualifications. Haran has spent the last 2 years in practice, where he gained valuable practical experience in taxation and various other business services disciplines.
We have recently welcomed Haran back from enjoying an European summer after being selected for a county cricket trial in Hampshire, England.

John joined BMK fresh out of graduating Year 12 /VCE at Secondary College. After starting as admin/accountant support, he quickly honed his skills in the area of administration and accounting. Having now successfully completed various courses, he has been given the role of Junior Accountant.
John is a determined individual who diligently seeks new challenges and undertakings that would be attributed to an individual with more experience. His ability to problem solve is outstanding. John’s focus and thorough approach compliments the service of his BMK client portfolio at the highest level.
Pashmeen Manchanda

Pashmeen holds a bachelors degree in economics from S.R.C.C., one of the most prestigious colleges in Asia, followed by a Masters degree in accounting & finance from La Trobe university.
Pashmeen joined BMK as a graduate accountant and is keen to learn and develop further her accounting and taxation skills. She combines her strong customer service skills with high level of dedication to providing exceptional service.
Paul Marlow

Maighdlin Ransom

From early January 2010 Maigh has been travelling through Arica and Europe on an exchange program through Monash University. We wish her safe and happy travels and look forward to her rejoining our team in late July.
Maigh is currently studying a double Commerce/Arts Degree at Monash University. She started bookkeeping straight after her completion of Year 12/VCE and commencement of university study and has previous experience working as a tax agent before joining the BMK team in 2009. Maigh has a Foundation Tax Certification from the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Sonia Benton

Sonia joined BMK in 2010 as our Client Admin Support/Receptionist and is responsible for presenting the firm in a positive and professional light. She shows a warm welcome to clients and a duty of care their needs.
She works closely in supporting all the team at BMK and is more than happy to assist you with any queries you may have.
Michelle Vitiritti

Michelle is responsible for the efficient running of the BMK office; where her role is to co-ordinate administrative tasks, finance procedures and debt management.
